Body and Physical Preparation for Sales Success
Experts agree there’s no better way to put your mind and body into perfect synergy than with exercise and physical activity. On your journey to developing the proper mindset and to becoming a Sales Assassin Master, there’s no better way to help build your will and desire to succeed than by integrating fitness goals into the game plan. An athlete knows he won’t be great without the proper mindset. Most importantly, he knows that the proper physical training will help develop his discipline and his drive.
Think of yourself as an athlete at work; better yet envision yourself as a SAM:
1. Start your morning with physical activity
Physical activity releases those endorphins and gives you the energy and “natural high” promoting the SAM mindset.
2. End your day with physical activity
Physical activity helps clear your mind of the day’s negative distractions, promotes restful REM sleep and helps you wind down and gear up for the next day!
The hit reality TV series “The Biggest Loser” is one of my absolute favorite shows. If you’ve never seen it, I encourage you to tune in. The show features extremely obese individuals who decide to make a commitment to losing the weight by adhering to a strict exercise and diet plan. As they go on their weight loss journey and begin reaching their weight loss goals, you see them begin to build energy, gain momentum, confidence and become more driven to succeed. They go to bed and rise every morning with the “every day is a new day” mindset and an opportunity to reach new milestones. Wow, imagine being able to apply that kind of excitement to your sales objectives?
By incorporating fitness goals into your journey to becoming a SAM, you will become The Biggest Winner, I guarantee it! When you’re in better physical health:
• you look better
• you feel better
• you’re more confident
These positive feelings contribute to a positive disposition and a positive mindset. Because now you’re getting your mind and body to work in unison, you’re making better choices about what to feed your mind and about what to feed your body.
