2. 66% of new jobs in the U.S. each year are at a small business
3. 57 million people are employed by small businesses in the U.S.
4. 9.9 million business in the US are women-owned businesses and 14.8 million are male-owned businesses
5. 53% of small business owners rank their happiness at 9 or above
6. 42% of self-employed professionals do not plan to retire
7. 69% of entrepreneurs in the U.S. start their business at home
8. +33% of small business owners feel very confident about the future of their business
9. 25% of small companies with 500 employees or less are more than 20 years old
