I’m Anthony Caliendo, The Main Man, with FNBC Florida. As a business broker, the one thing I always tell the sellers that are looking out there right now to think about selling their business is you couldn’t pick a better time. The economy is doing incredible, the banks are loaning money like mad and the SBA changed their guidelines: a buyer only has to come up with 10% to buy your business right now.

So think about that for a second: if you’re a seller and you sold your business for a million dollars and a buyer comes up with $100,000 – which is not a whole lot of money – and let’s just say he’s gonna make $300,000 in what I call net owner benefit. After paying the debt, he still can make a couple hundred thousand dollars in actual cash.

So you could take $100,000 and possibly make $200,000 the first year. This makes a whole lot of sense, and with these new guidelines with the SBA and right now with the economy doing so great you could not pick a better time to list your business and sell it. I have more buyers than I do sellers. As a matter of fact, I’m looking for quality sellers right now – which is exactly why I’m here presenting this to you.

If you’ve thought about selling your business and if you’re tired of all the headaches, you’re tired of all the employees, you’re tired of all the competition or you’re just tired of being tired, now is the time is to sell your business.
