Stay #FitToSell Despite the Heat

Beat the Summer Sales Slump

How to Beat The Summer Sales Slump

Much of the country has been sweltering with +90 temperatures – in South Florida, we just call that summer. Summer is often slow for sales people. Part of its due to attitude – it’s vacation, why am I working? Part of its due to changed daily schedules due to vacations. And part of its due to not staying Fit To Sell.

I’m not a health or nutrition expert, but I’ve been living in south Florida for over 20 years, and I know there’s a sure-fire way to help conquer your summer sales slump:

Stay Hydrated

Sound easy? It is. But too many people go about their daily routine in the sweltering temperatures and forget that when the weather changes, your daily routine should change too.

Studies have shown that even mild dehydration
can have adverse effects on mood and energy.

Dehydration can sneak up on you – athletes know how dehydration affects performance – and that waiting until you’re thirsty is often too late.
