Do you wonder how successful people get things done? I prefer a regular routine to start my day: when I’m consistent in my habits I’m more productive and feel more in control. I’m a believer in starting the day early – whether I feel like it or not. I recently shared with you my 3 morning habits for sales success.

Entrepreneurs, athletes, CEO and sales assassins all agree: a consistent routine is their productivity secret. Successful people accomplish more things before breakfast than most other people do in a day. They prioritize what’s important to them and accomplish those tasks before they get side-tracked by the day.

I’m a firm believer that physical health leads to improved mental health, productivity and performance. In order to stay #FitToSell I work out regularly, typically in the morning. Many other successful people also work out early in the morning, to make sure they start the day right and don’t let their physical health take a back-seat to their professional health. Whether you get up at 4am, 5:30 am or 7am, creating habits and a consistent routine is key to improving your productivity.

According to Lifehack, the sure way to create new habits and making them stick:

1. Commit to Thirty Days – Three to four weeks is all the time you need to make a habit automatic. If you can make it through the initial conditioning phase, it becomes much easier to sustain. A month is a good block of time to commit to a change since it easily fits in your calendar. 

Anyone can commit to 30 days to change their life if they really want to. The question is, do you want to?
